Welcome to Treehouse Child Care! We offer child care for elementary students during the school year (Before & After School Care) and during the summer months (All Day). Child care for 3- and 4-year-olds is also available all day during the summer months. Summer and fall registration are underway.

Enrollment for our 2024-25 tuition-based preschool and preschool with wraparound care (Treehouse Boost) is underway.

Early childhood special education (ECSE) meets the needs of children ages 3 to 5 who have developmental delays. Eligibility is determined by an early childhood diagnostic team. Must be pre-approved to enroll. Contact Student Services with any questions about ECSE at (616) 254-6768.
 
 
After you've completed the pre-enrollment form above, check your email inbox or junk/spam in the next 24 hours for instructions to finish the entire enrollment process.
 
The forms and information you need will be available as you move through the enrollment process, but below is a helpful preview of the items you'll need:
  • certified birth certificate with seal
  • most recent immunization record is required (see board policy and administrative guidelines)
  • two forms of proof of residency in our school district (check your property tax records if you're unsure of your district). A driver's license or cell phone, internet or cable bill cannot be used as proof. Acceptable proof includes two of the following:
    • a recent utility bill (gas, electric or water)
    • property tax bill
    • lease or mortgage
    • renters or homeowners insurance 
  • hearing and vision results from preschool or county
  • IEP/special education paperwork, if applicable

Kindergarten and young kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is open!
 
Residency  These instructions are for children who reside in our school district. If your child lives outside our district, visit our Schools of Choice page.
 
Age  Children must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2024, to enroll in kindergarten or young kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year; however, children who will be 5 by Dec. 1, 2024, are also eligible if a parent makes a waiver request.
 
First Day The first day of school is Aug. 19, 2024. It is a half day.
 
Kindergarten Overview  Full-day kindergarten is offered every day in every elementary school. All day, every day young kindergarten is available but may not be at every school. See our young kindergarten FAQ.
 
Midyear Transfers  Kindergarten and young kindergarten enrollment for 2023-24 is also underway for children in our school district. Children must have turned 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2023, to enroll in kindergarten or young kindergarten in the current school year; however, children who were 5 by Dec. 1, 2023, are also eligible if a parent signs an age waiver. No Re-enrollment Needed:
  • If your child attended Grandville Public Schools' young kindergarten, you do not need to re-enroll.
  • If your child attended Grandville Public Schools' preschool, use your existing PowerSchool parent portal account to enroll. Do not complete the enrollment form linked below. Log in to your PowerSchool account, click "Forms" on the left and complete all forms under the "Enrollment" tab.
